Rafting and Fishing on Kamchatka rivers

Thanks to a great number of rivers at Kamchatka , those who are keen on fishing have the best possibilities for fishing and recreation. Fishing on Kamchatka rivers, combined with the beauty of pristine nature, hot springs leave unforgettable memories.
For fishing and rafting we offer the following river routes: Bystraya river, Opala river, Pimta river, Zhupanova river, Elovaya river, Levaya Shapina river, Levaya Avacha river.

Fishing on Bystraya river (Malkinskaya)

Period since July till October.

Bystraya river is located in the Southern part of Kamchatka peninsular. It loops among the mountains of Sredinny ridge. This is the most interesting and accessible route for fishing and rafting. While the route three groups of weirs are to be passed: the 1 st and the 2 nd category of difficulty. Fishing is organized from rafts and while camping on the bank of the river. While rafting it is possible to watch Brow bear coming to the river to regale on fish. From the end of June till the end of July in the Lower Bystraya King salmon (Chinook) fishing takes place. It is the largest salmon at Kamchatka , the weight of it reaches 25 kg ( 55,12 lbs ) and about 1 meter long.

1 st day. Accommodation at the hotel of tourist resort, bathing in thermal water swimming pool.

2 nd day. Driving up to Bystraya river ( 140 km ). The beginning of rafting, residence in the tents.

3 rd – 7 th day. Rafting and fishing. Residence in the tents.

8 th day. Finish of the river tour. Driving back to the tourist resort.

9 th day. Excursion about the town, at the Museum of the Local Lore. Visiting the fish –market and buying souvenirs.

The cost of the tour: 33500 rubles per one person.

The total cost of the tour includes: Meal three times a day while the whole route, service of a guide, a cook, an interpreter, basic gear, transport service, hotel and tourist resort rooms, excursions, visa support, license payment.

Everyone is to have: Fishing tackles, backpack, sleeping bag, sleeping pad, articles of personal necessity, bathing accessories, repellent, sun-glasses, personal first aid kit, headlamp. It is possible to organize one-day sea fishing.


Fishing on Opala river

Fishing on Opala riverOpala river flows in the Southern part of Kamchatka peninsular, far from civilization. The access and the way back are carried out by a helicopter. It takes one hour. It possible to bathe in thermal springs during rafting. Brown bears often come to the banks of the river.

1 st day. Accommodation in the tourist resort, bathing in the swimming pool with thermal water.

2 nd day. A helicopter flight to Opala river. Bathing in Opala hot springs . Start of rafting and fishing. Passing night in the tents,

3 rd – 7 th day. Rafting, fishing, passing one more night in tents.

8 th day. Finish of the rafting. Helicopter flight back to the town. Accommodation at the tourist resort.

9 th day. Departure day. Excursion about the town, visiting fish-market, souvenir shop. Seeing off to the airport.

The cost of the tour: 58500 rubles per one person.
